Lifting Aids

Manual Handling Aids, Strops, Clamps, etc. ideal for use out on-site, in a workshop, or warehouse are very popular with the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry. The lifting and handling aids are simple to attach to the item you want to move. They come with specially designed handles to increase grip and greatly reduce pinch points.

• LIFT ASSIST SINGLE HANDLE – MANUAL HANDLING AID

  To aid with the safer handling of pipe, ironwork and tubing sections.

  1. Reduces unneccessary bending and lifting

  2. Easy to fit – simply pass the strop under the load then pass handle through the strop eye to make a “choke” hitch. Alternatively, the eye may be slipped over the pipe ends

• LIFT ASSIST DOUBLE HANDLE – MANUAL HANDLING AID

  To aid with the safer handling of pipe, ironwork, and tubing sections

  1. Reduces unnecessary bending and lifting

  2. Easy to fit simply pass one handle under the load so that the strop wraps around the pipe section.

  3. Lift by cradling the load, with each operator taking up a handle, one each side of the load

• LIFT ASSIST CHOKE VALVE SLING – 2″ CHOKE VALVESTROP

  To aid in the safer handling of 2″ chicksan valves. To fit simply pass the handling straps under the valve connection butts as shown in pic 2 & 3. The strop with the adjacent velcro retaining strap should be passed under the male connection. Once in place, pass the velcro strap under the opposite side horizontal link strop and secure it back on itself. Ensure that strops are not against any sharp edges.
